Personal Air Purifier
Everyone has their own needs and preferences when it comes to the items in their environment. This applies
doubly to those items that serve to make us feel better and make us healthier.
Because of this, the choice of a personal air purifier must be mad with the utmost care. Options need to be debated, asked about, and considered. With that in mind, here are some things to consider.
Room Size: This is a major consideration as it is the one most likely to effect price and other details of the purifier. Because of that make sure that you know the dimensions of the rooms that you will be using the air purifier in. If the rooms are of disparate sizes (such as 10’x10’ and 20’20) see if the air purifier has variable settings and buy for the bigger room.
Ozone Producer: This should be a major consideration, especially as people that suffer severe allergic reactions may not do well with an air purifier that produces ozone. For others, remember to not use it at maximum settings unless absolutely necessary.
Other considerations: Besides cost of the machine proper, consider maintenance costs (such as filter replacements). Also, options should be considered, such as filter replacement signals, variable settings, and even if the fan is quiet. The warrantee should also be considered, as you are trusting your health to the machine, and a warrantee may be important if it breaks down. You should debate every option available, and only go for the package that you feel comfortable.
Style: A minor consideration, especially as the other criteria are more important, this should be a consideration simply because the air purifier will be around for a long period of time, and you don’t to have something around for a long period of time if you don’t like its appearance.
Remember to do your homework: Not all air purifiers are created equal. Be advised to always check out reviews of the air purifier that you are debating to purchase. It can be somewhat aggravating to find what you think is a great buy, only to find out that the device is not up to par. This applies doubly if you are buying an air purifier from a third party, such as an eBay store.
If you follow these suggestions then your purchase should be safe, do the job effectively, and last you for a long time, and look like it’s part of the environment that it’s making safe.
